Job Description

As an HVAC Maintenance Technician at Sunshine Heating & Air Conditioning, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the proper functioning and maintenance of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems for our clients.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sell new systems and services
  • Conducting routine maintenance inspections of HVAC systems, identifying and resolving issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Performing preventive maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts to extend the lifespan of equipment.
  • Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems and executing repairs as needed.
  • Installing new HVAC systems, including wiring and controls, in accordance with established standards and specifications.
  • Collaborating with other team members to coordinate larger installations or repair projects.
  • Keeping accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, time spent, and services performed.

Job Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including troubleshooting and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
  • Monday - Friday + on-call rotation
  • Overtime (if required)
